How long does it take to ship a car? Most deliveries take 2–7 days depending on distance, location, and carrier availability. Cross-country trips may take a bit longer.
-
Is my vehicle insured during transport?Yes. All carriers we dispatch are fully insured per FMCSA requirements. Insurance coverage includes damage during loading, unloading, and transit.
-
Can I ship an inoperable vehicle?Yes. We can ship non-running vehicles, but a winch-equipped trailer is required. An inoperable vehicle surcharge will apply.
-
Should I ship my car with personal items inside? We strongly advise against it. Carriers are not liable for personal items left inside the vehicle, and insurance won’t cover them.
-
Will my vehicle be driven during shipping?Only during loading and unloading. Otherwise, it remains secured on the trailer throughout transport.
-
What’s the difference between open and enclosed transport?Open transport is the most common and cost-effective option. Enclosed transport offers additional protection and is recommended for high-value, luxury, or classic vehicles.
-
Do you transport motorcycles or powersport vehicles?Yes! We transport motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and powersport equipment using both open and enclosed options.
-
Can you ship heavy equipment or freight?Yes. We transport tractors, skid steers, forklifts, and palletized freight. Let us know the dimensions and weight for an accurate quote.
-
How much does it cost to ship a car?Pricing is based on distance, trailer type, operability, vehicle weight, and market demand. Use our [Get a Quote] page for an instant estimate.
-
Do I pay everything upfront? No. You pay a broker fee upfront to secure your booking, and the remaining balance is paid directly to the carrier at delivery (via Zelle, Cash App, or cash).
-
What’s included in the quote?Your quote includes base mileage rate, weight/operability surcharges, trailer type cost, and broker fee. No hidden charges.
-
Do prices change?Quotes are based on current market conditions and may change if not booked promptly. Prices can rise due to fuel costs or seasonal demand.
-
How far in advance should I book?We recommend booking 5–7 days ahead of your desired pickup. Same-day and next-day pickups are possible but subject to availability.
-
Can I choose exact pickup and drop-off times? We provide estimated pickup/delivery windows. Carriers will call ahead to coordinate a specific time when possible.
-
What if I’m not available at pickup or delivery? You can authorize someone else to release or receive the vehicle on your behalf. They must be 18+ and have valid ID.
-
Are you licensed and bonded?Yes. We operate under active FMCSA broker authority and carry the required $75,000 surety bond. All carriers are vetted for compliance.
-
